My appointment was a little over a month ago with Darci. I only got a trim. However, I have had formally bad experiences … More with salons in the past. So I was nervous. I felt kind of judged here by my stylist. Darci kept pointing out how dead my hair is - and overall just telling me “your scalp isn’t happy with you”.. Yeah I was well aware it was dead. It had been 2 years since my last salon visit, once again, because usually my visits with salons are never good. I left the salon overall happy with my trim, I just hate how I was judged for shampoo I use - being a girly with dandruff I have to use dandruff shampoo or else my scalp WILL flake and it is the worst. I’d rather use a bad shampoo than have a flakey scalp at this rate. She repeated herself many times on how “unhappy” my scalp is. I understand it probably is, but repeating it several times? It would have just been better to do the trim and move on. If I was in an industry such as being a hair dresser, I wouldn’t continuously make comments to make the client feel judged. I was already extremely nervous because once again, formal BAD experiences. She was behind on her schedule as well; so it felt rushed.
I didn’t completely match with her personality, but as someone who works with people day to day - I understand not everyone will click with me. So i will say I appreciated how she respected my wishes on keeping my length.
The atmosphere is beautiful, it’s very zen inside and definitely relaxing. They offer beverages upon your arrival, typically water and alcoholic beverages unfortunately for those under the legal age to drink alcohol such as myself.
It’s definitely not the worst, can be pricey, honestly either i’ll stick to doing my own trims at home or simply just book with someone else.

She and al the other staff are genuinely nice people. The salon is immaculate and the atmosphere totally professional. I was so relaxed listening to music in an enviroment that is monochromatically white that I didn't even need to read a magazine or check my phone. There is a cerrtain Zen and calmness that I really appreciate. I finally found my person and the place to get my hair done as I want it to be and I felt they wanted to give me that, how more perfect cant that be? It took a second try but I knew that there is responsiblity as the client to communicat what you want, but if you find a willing stylist that listens and cares, that is Golden (as is my hair). All the other stylists seem to be of the same caliber, so I say this salon is 5 star. -
