About Me
How did you get into the industry? My wife Jen Moeschl has been a stylist for over 20 years and has always wanted to own her salon. We were waiting for the perfect fit and that opportunity came to us in early 2021, a few weeks before we got married.
So you’re not a stylist then. What’s your role at the salon? Most of my career experience is in helping businesses grow, and in my free time I love working with electronics and technology. To that end, my main focus has been learning everything I can about the salon business and figuring out how where we can make things easier and more enjoyable for both our clients and stylists.
That includes a website that is fast, modern, and easy to use, along with many other improvements you’ll see next time you come visit us.
What do you do outside the salon? I am passionate about helping owners of small and mid-sized businesses get “unstuck” so that they can spend more time doing what they are the most passionate about.
What’s the best advice you can give to other business owners? Less is more. Many times my first session with business owners is giving them permission to stop doing the vast majority of the things they feel obligated to do – likely because they heard it on a podcast or read it in an article somewhere. Instead, stay in your passion! What’s left after that usually can be delegated or automated.
